About Pokémon Picker

Choosing a favorite should feel like playing. Pokémon Picker brings small fan activities together: compare favorites, build random teams, rank designs and build a chart of your favorite Pokémon of each type.

One fan-made playground

This is an independent, unofficial project. We are not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company. We use our own interface, typography and written explanations.

Where the data comes from

The species data comes from PokéAPI’s public data repository. Sprites and cries come from its sprite and cry repositories and are served from this site. Our species pool covers National Pokédex numbers 1–1025. Alternate forms are not extra species; the Mega template includes forms with available sprites.
