Random Starter Pokémon Generator: how it works
The random starter Pokémon generator draws from the Grass, Fire and Water first partners introduced in Generations 1–9. Pick one or a whole trio.
GOOD QUESTIONS
A few things to know
Which starters are included?
The pool contains 27 base-stage Grass, Fire and Water first partners: three from each generation, from Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle to Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly.
Are Pikachu and Eevee included as starters?
This template uses the standard three-part starter trios. Pikachu and Eevee remain available in the main random Pokémon generator.
Can I randomize starters from one generation?
Yes. Set the Generation filter before generating. Choose three results to display that generation’s whole trio in a random order.
Are evolved starters included?
No. This tool chooses the first partner’s base form. Use the main generator to include their evolutions.
